​As a parent and professional, I personally know the challenges faced when raising and caring for children/loved ones with a disability, learning difference and health issues. At You're Not Alone Services, I,m here to provide Advocacy, Support, a bridge between parents and resources, and a place where parents can come together to share resources, network, get information and find support.

   

For Non DOE Preschool/ Day Care Providers:

• Setting up for and navigating Related Service providers in your program

• Assisting with DOH Article 47 guidelines for Daycare START UPS

• Inservice Training on Inclusion of students with Service Plans and IEPs 

• Guidance on Physical Environment set up

There are many organizations that deal with ASD Level 1 (Asperger's Syndrome), Sensory Processing Disorders, and related Neurobiological Learning Disorders, each with a specific purpose or goal. However our goal/mission is to reach, serve and network parents in the local communities of Brooklyn where our children tend to "fall between the cracks" and we are "geographically challenged". The purpose of You're Not Alone Services is to provide Advocacy, upport, a bridge between parents and resources, a place where parents can come together to share resources to build a local directory, network, get information, find support and most importantly help bring awareness to our community. We believe that by banding and working together, we CAN make change. By building an effective web site, we hope to reeach and assist families through their journey, and get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar issues.

Remember..... the seed of change can be planted by one, ut it's a shared commitment and nurturing that makes it grow ! Together we can make a difference
